Introduction:

The making of film and television show with its combination of action, suspense, surprise, and special effects will welcome the guests from the entrance to the last journey Another serves the most interesting adventure in the Disney-MGM (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer) Studios.

The theme park opened in 1989 offers the sneak peek behind-the-scenes preview on the production process at Buena Vista Pictures and the Disney animation workshop.

The first journey the guests will experience is started from the entrance of Disney-MGM Studios. The palm-lined avenue of Hollywood Boulevard completed with modern designed Disney offices, shops, and diners have enliven the real setting of Hollywood's focal attraction in 1920s and 30s.

The guests are also greeted by Disney’s entertainers and characters on this avenue. The American Idol Experience is a new attraction which will make you feel like a star and even meet personally with the real one. The guests are also welcome to participate in the parades, a rock-and-roll fantasy, and spectacular attractions of blockbuster movies and top TV shows at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The end corner of Hollywood Boulevard provides a popular attraction of Hollywood’s Chinese Theater with its iconic Mickey Mouse’s hat. Next to it lays Sunset Boulevard in 1940s setting, with shopping, dining, and street performance.

Tours and Attractions:


This section has two sections which are the area of film and television show, and the area of performances and advertisements.
The movie and television production area covered more than a half of this section offers for the package of back area tour of Disney-MGM Studios, a 30-minutes tour combining electrical train and stroll.

The package begins with the special attraction of the visual and mechanical tricks performed in movies, such as rain and marine combat. The next tour will go through attire and trading arcades with the setting of "Catastrophe Canyon."

Disney-MGM Studios has more interesting attractions including the setting of an abandoned Hollywood hotel and haunted elevator in "Twilight Zone of Terror", 20-minutes movie history ride of "The Great Movie Ride", and an inside spaceship simulation of "Star Wars,".

Here the guest can also enjoy various adventure rides, live stage performances, TV games simulations, as well as the night glow and extravagant of "Fantasmic” show.

The dining outlets available in this section are a setting of the elegant 1930s dining place of Brown Derby serving the specialty of Cobb salad originally created by Brown Derby himself, and The 50's Café of Prime Time with the kitchen setting of a 1950s.

- ESPN The Weekend: performs all-star athletes, live ESPN telecasts, broadcast personalities and the interactive sports experiences with hall of famers.

- The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights: a colossal seasonal exhibit featuring millions of holiday lights with orchestrated music from November 2011 to January 2012.

- Star Wars™ Weekends: annual special event in celebrating the legendary Star Wars Saga and the animated television series, The Clone Wars.
